Michalson Farm About Us

taxuschampI grew up on a Thoroughbred breeding farm raising 2-5 babies every year. We have now also started breeding to top European jumping stallions.

I have been riding horses since I was 2 years old. I got my first pony named Splotch for Christmas when I was 6 years old and never stopped riding. I started riding hunters at Stephens college when I was 12, and also started Pony Club around the same time. I have done many working student jobs and worked with many great instructors and clinicians. I specialize in training young horses, both American bred and imported. I have had 2 different horses bought as 4yos that have been horse of the year for my zone in the young jumpers. I love the problem solving that comes with training young horses and the challenge of seeing the potential in a good investment horse. I compete all over the Midwest and Florida. I also compete internationally with the International Student Riders Association.
